Genesis 37:9 Then he (Joseph) had another dream, and he told it to his brothers. “Listen,” he said, “I had another dream, and this time the sun and moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

The Woman is Israel, national Israel as opposed to spiritual Israel. She takes her place in the John’s sight as a wonder in the heaven to show that all eyes of the earth will be on her.  Israel will be and is the end time center of attention. If we take John’s vision as it is given, then our solar system does not revolve around the earth but Israel. (See Jeremiah 31:31-40) While God loves the Church and has given us joint ownership with Jesus of all things, (Romans 8:17), He has never forgotten Israel (Isaiah 49:14-16) nor the promises that He made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. (Jeremiah 33:23-26) The world may see Israel as trouble, but God sees her as His own special people.

As much as we may like to have it differently, as concerning countries the U. S. of A. is not the center of Biblical prophecy – that place belongs to Israel.

Why would there be joy when so much grief is taking place on earth? Because the grief on earth is chosen just as heaven was chosen by the Redeemed. The purpose of all that is happening is to reclaim the earth and to judge those that chose evil over righteousness, satan over God.

He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, 3 and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion.

 

 

Is this an angel or the Angel of the Lord which would be Christ? Many believe that before His becoming flesh that the Lord would appear to man and would be called by different titles such as the Angel of the Lord. (Most notably Exodus 3:1-4)

While we are about to look into trumpets that announce and begin destruction upon the earth, (the first four trumpets), and upon man, (the last three trumpets), there is trumpet call that brings deliverance.

What a difference between the trumpet of God and the trumpets of the angels! The trumpet of God is deliverance to the children of God from this earth, the release of the Church to go home to our Father! It is the gathering sound for all that have believed on Jesus. The bodies of those that have died in Christ will be changed and joined with their waiting spirits while those who are alive will be changed as we rise to meet Jesus in the skies! This is not symbolism or a Christian fantasy but reality. The trumpet call of God frees the Church to be who we really are, the literal children of God – immortal and like our Savior n every way! No one yet knows. Most likely because the judgments that are about to come upon the earth are so terrible that there is nothing to do but to sit in silent wonder. Why every man and woman on earth has not repented to this point will amaze all in heaven to point of shock that this next seal had to be opened at all. Yes, many on earth have been deceived and many have hardened their hearts but still they saw through all that surrounded the opening of the first six seals that God was demanding justice for those that rejected His Son.

What an eerie experience. After an earthquake as the world has never experienced, one so strong that the earth is literally moved over (Rev. 6:12-14), total stillness. Not a breath of wind anywhere. The angels that control the winds and all answers for the four regions of the earth, (See Zechariah 6) are about to unleash judgment form the four corners of the earth. There is about to be a windstorm as never seen that will involve not only the elements but the upheaval of governments and powers, but all is paused.

The first rider – the antichrist, (vs. 2), had a bow but no arrows. He is a conqueror and will cause the death of many, but is not given power to randomly destroy life. The rider of the red horse is given a large sword to bring death. Violent and brutal death is his purpose and mission. It is not just war that he brings but tribal warfare, civil wars, race wars, terrorism, and deadly civil unrest. Peace and civility will be taken from the earth. What we have seen and see today of these tragedies will be nothing as compared to what this rider will bring.

He rides a white horse as will Jesus, (Revelation 19:11-15), and he has a bow but no arrows. He rides to conquer but is not given power to reign as Jesus and His saints will reign! He is a man that arises from near obscurity but has the power to overcome through peace as well as war.

The focus quickly becomes the seals on the scroll but what is the contained in the scroll? While the angel asks if anyone can break seals, he asks with the end view to opening the scroll. As we will see, every time that a seal is broken on the scroll major events are set in order on earth. This would show that the scroll has to do with the earth. If the scroll has to do with the earth then why can’t any of the redeemed take it and open it? What is sought here is one that is worthy of their self and there is not one redeemed man, woman, or child that can make such a boast as none stand before the Father on their own!

These seem to be the leaders from both Covenants now joined as the Bride! The representatives over the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve apostles that walked with Jesus. (Rev. 21:12, 14) These have their bodies for they are seated and wearing their robes of white! They have already passed before the judgment seat of Christ for they are wearing crowns! (2 Corinthians 5:10, 1 Corinthians 3:10-15, Rev. 2:10; 3:4-5) Whether redeemed Gentile or Jew, now there is one new Body of Believers! (Ephesians 2:11-22) That the thrones surround the throne of God show that there is equality but still that God is above all.
